With all of the hype around riders, for what it is worth (and how it might sound crazy), I think Mr. Sagan is under the radar. Yes, I know. Green jersey. BUT . . .
I don’t know why, but I have a feeling that Sagan is going to break the sprinter mold. Watching him during his “gap jump” in Paris Roubaix this year, I think Sagan is attempting to break the mold of which he has been placed or has placed himself. Look back in cycling history, it has been done before. His bike handling skills are impeccable, as most UCI professionals, but I feel that he has much more to offer.
With the “biggies” dead ahead, could this be the year for Sagan to surprise everyone, outside of sprint stages?
